Most of the drying wood veneer has the defects caused by veneer peeling or defects of wood itself, such as knots, holes and crack. After repairing, the grade of wood veneer can be improved.

There is two processes to repair the wood veneer.

1. Repairing the veneer mannually

Workers use small knives and sealing tapes to tape the cracks then remove the types after plywood production finished.

2. Patching the veneer by veneer patching machine

The knots and holes of B grade veneer will be digged by veneer patching machine, then the machine will put a sticky patch to make the veneer a whole one.
