However, its structure is complex and huge, and it must be equipped with a loading and unloading plate system, and in general, a pre-pressing machine is required. The production output of the hot press mainly depends on the number of layers and the width of the hot press. Different products have different hydraulic systems of the hot press. In the production of plywood, the nominal pressure of the hot press can be selected to be lower. The heating medium is heated with hot water, but oil heating has been used more and more recently. Steam heating makes it difficult to maintain the constant high temperature required across the entire platen deck. Using oil as the heat carrier, the hot press can be heated to above 200°C without any difficulty, so that the pressure of pressurization can be reduced.
